Learn To Swim Program:
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program is to help people learn to be safe when they are in, on, or around water. The program covers skills and knowledge in a logical progression for aquatic skill development. As participants develop these skills, they will become safer and better swimmers.

- Level I Water Exploration:
Objective: This course helps students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely. Elementary skills are introduced. Prerequisite: None.
- Level II Primary Skills:
Objective: To give students success with fundamental skills. Students learn to float without support and to recover to a vertical position. Prerequisite: Level I certificate. Must demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level I.
- Level III Stroke Readiness:
Objective: Students learn to coordinate the front and back crawl and are introduced to the elementary backstroke and the fundamentals of treading water. Prerequisite: Level II certificate. Must demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level II.
- Level IV Stroke Development:
Objective: Students increase their endurance by swimming familiar strokes for greater distances than in Level III. The breaststroke and sidestroke are introduced. Prerequisite: Level III certificate. Must demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level III.
- Adult Free Swim:
After a hard day of work come enjoy an evening swim or workout by doing laps in our olympic size pool.
- Infant and Preschool Aquatics Program (IPAP) (must be 1 year old):
Objective: This course is designed to help young children become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. This program is not designed to teach children to become good swimmers or even to survive in the water on their own. The program gives parents information and techniques to help orient their children to the water and to supervise water activities in a safe manner. Prerequisite: Children must be one to four years old. A parent/guardian must accompany the child in the water.
