Chenee' de Ment: Born and raised in NJ. Chenee trained with Phyllis Papa at ACBT. In 2005 she moved to NYC to continue her training with the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre where she danced in Cinderella, Sylvia & Les Corsaire at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC. Chenee has danced principle roles in Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Visions, & The Nutcracker with AC Ballet.
Janelle de Ment : Principle dancer with the Atlantic City Ballet, Janelle has danced principle roles in The Nutcracker , Hamlet, Tempest, Sleeping Beauty, Visions, & Swan Lake to name a few. Janelle began her training under Phyllis Papa at ACBT. In 2005 Janelle was accepted into & studied with the Joffrey School in NY under Francescs Korkle & John Magnus where she danced the spring pas de deux in Etudes.
Tamara de Ment: Tamara began her training under Phyllis Papa at ACBT. She has performed as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sugar Plum in The Nutcracker & Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty to name a few. Tamara, also an accomplished professional songwriter & musician, plays the Violin & Harp. She is a full time Ballet instructor & violin teacher at the ACBT Performing Arts Academy.
Zahava Karpel: "Goldie" was born in Jerusalem, Israel where she began her training. She moved to the US at the age of five where she trained at Ballet Academy East and Studio Maestro in NYC. She has danced principal roles with the Huntington Ballet Theatre, BalletRox and Dances Patrelle. She has a BA from Johns Hopkins University. Goldie joined ACB in the summer of 2006 where she danced in A Midsummer Night's Dream
Sara Lonngren: Sara graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2005 where she studied under Christine Cox, Eva Szabo, Andrew Papp & Scott Jovich. She trained with the National Ballet of New Jersey& the Roxery Ballet before coming to ACB in 2005 where she has danced as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream as well as Marzipan, Flowers & Snow in The Nutcracker.
Suzanne Silver: Suzanne began training with ACBT in 1994 & has been dancing with the company since 2001. She has performed numerous roles including Dew Drop & Trepak in The Nutcracker & Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Suzanne teaches ballet for the ACBT HS Intensive program.
Jing-Jia Qian: Jing-Jia began her ballet training at age 7. At age 13 she entered the Shang-hai Far East Ballet School where she studied for two years before entering Victory College of the Arts, secondary school in Australia, graduating at age 18. She has been dancing with ACB since 2006 and teaches Adult Ballet for ACBT. The Nutcracker, Dracula, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Les Sylphides (Coryphées) and Les Corsair (pas de deux from Act II) are just a few of her dance accomplishments.
DaVon Doane: DaVon began his training with the Eastern shore ballet theater in Maryland, where he trained under Tatiana Akinfieva-Smith, Elena Manakhova and Betty Webster. He also danced roles in the Nutcracker, Sheherazade, Polevetzian dances, and Coppelia. In 2002 he attended the ACBT Summer Intensive. In 2004 he joined the performing arts academy where he trained under Phyllis Papa and received his High School diploma. In 2006 he joined the company and performed Soldier Doll, Snow Prince, Arabian and Trepak in The Nutcracker, La Familia, Bottom in A Midsummer Nights Dream, and Huapango to name a few. He is also a teacher at the ACBT Performing Arts Academy.
Eduard Constantinescu: “Eddy” graduated from the Ballet High School of Bucharest, Romania. He has performed in numerous ballets including the Flower’s Festival & Papillion as well as selected pieces from Coppelia & La Fille Mal Gardee. Eddie also danced with the National Opera in Bucharest. He has danced roles in Atlantic City Ballet’s Dracula, The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream..
Kristaps Kikulis: Kristaps attended Latvian State Ballet School in Riga, Latvia from 1996-2004. There he studied 8 years of classical dance, 5 years character dance, 4 years modern dance and 3 years dance history, classical partner dance and dramatics. He danced with Theatre Varemuine in Tartu, Estonia from 2004- 2007. His classical ballet experience includes Don Quixote (toreodors dance), The Nutcracker ( chinese, flowers), E-Duur and Giselle (Hans). He will be debuting with Atlantic City Ballet as Dracula in the fall 2007 production of DRACULA. Kristaps also joins the teaching staff at Acbt this fall.
Joshua P. Crespo; Joshua trained at the American Academy of Dance in Houston, Texas from 1995-2004. He moved on to Harid Conservatory in Florida from 2004-05. He danced with the Pisttsburgh Ballet Theatre for the 2006-07 season. His dance credits include Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Byadere and Giselle. Joshua comes to Atlantic City Ballet in 2007 and will soon list DRACULA and The Nutcracker amoung his credits. He will also be teaching ballet for ACBT Performing Arts Academy.
Jean Marc Ault-Riche; Born in Topeka, Kansas, Jean Marc moved to California at age five and began his dance career. He joined San Francisco Ballet school at age eleven, where he trained for 5 years. In 2006 he moved to Boston to train at the Boston Ballet School. Throughout his training he has had numerous occasion to perform with both the San Francisco Ballet Company and the Boston Ballet Company. Jean Marc makes his debut with Atlantic City Ballet in the 2007 production of Dracula. He will also be teaching ballet at ACBT Performing Arts Academy.
Gerald Pines; Gerry began his training in 2000 with First State Ballet Theatre and Eastern Shore Ballet Theatre. In 2003 he trained at Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre and received his High School degree there as well. From 2004-05 Gerry trained at the Harid Conservatory before moving on to the Boston Ballet Training program in 2006. A few of his performance credits include; Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, La Bayadere and Swan Lake, to name a few. Gerry joins Atlantic City Ballet in 2007 and will add Dracula to his list of credits. He will also teach ballet at ACBT Performing Arts Academy.
